In a statement addressed to the nation on Sunday following the passing of former president Jimmy Carter, Biden praised the later statesman while also slammed the recent president-elect in his place. Biden, who sounded loud during the conversation, said he “lost a lovely buddy” on Sunday, noting that he had known Carter for more than 50 years. Carter passed away in Prairies, Georgia, at the age of 100, after nearly two years of being in hospital treatment. During his notes, Biden said Carter is a concept” of what it means to live a life of meaning and purpose, a life of rule, beliefs and humility”.
