GOP senator says a vote on a “very identical” spending bill is scheduled for Friday morning.

A GOP senator told reporters on Capitol Hill that the House will vote on a new CR proposal on Friday morning to stop the looming limited government shutdown. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., speaking to reporters outside Speaker Mike Johnson’s company, said politicians are “very near to a offer” and that a vote may be held at 10 a. m. Friday. I don’t think the government will stop operating. You guys may see some fantastic thing, very similar to President Trump’s strategy yesterday”, the congresswoman said. A partial government shutdown that was supported by Trump failed to pass the House of Representatives on Thursday nights. A Trump-backed spending bill is projected to go down in lights as the Democrats are being blocked. Two Democrats voted with the majority of Republicans in favor of the bill, and 38 GOP legislators voted against it, but it failed to perhaps online a lot, with the majority of the House chamber still needed.
