Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., who unsuccessfully attempted to remove House Speaker Mike Johnson from the senate last year, announced that she will vote on whether to keep Johnson in office on Friday. The congresswoman plans to vote on Friday to keep Johnson in the management position after she lambasted him as” the Uniparty Speaker” last month. She claimed he “is precisely what the Republican establishment needs” and that he had “done everything for liberals and given all to Joe Biden and Democrats.” In a film, she said,” Let’s set aside our pleasure, this throw aside our personalities, and this set aside the infighting.” She added that it is time for the GOP to band together and “do whatever it takes” to ensure that we fulfill the mandate that the American people have set forth. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., who supported the efforts to oust Johnson last season, has declared that he will not help the speaker’s pay to stay in the position. In a statement on” The Matt Gaetz Show,” Massie said,” I’m not voting for Mike Johnson tomorrow, you can pull all of my fingernails out, you can put bamboo up in them, you can start cutting off my fingers.” REP. VICTORIA SPARTZ DEMANDS’ Claims ‘ SPEAKER JOHNSON ‘WON’T SELL US OUT TO THE SWAMP ‘” Speaker Mike Johnson is a good, tough working, religious person. We may continue to win if he makes the right decision. Mike has my Full &, Total Endorsement”, Trump declared in a Truth Social article. Johnson’s path to victory is perilous, and could be derailed if another Republican chooses to add Massie in opposing Johnson’s charge. The winning member may receive an overwhelming majority of votes in the first place to be endorsed by a newly elected leader, according to Fox News Senior congressional correspondent Chad Pergram. ” But this state there are 434 people and all voting for someone by name. 218 is the secret number. If Johnson gets the vote of all 219 Republicans, he wins. If Johnson gets 218 seats, he even wins. But 217? No dice”, Pergram noted. Johnson stated in an interview on Fox Business ‘” Kudlow” that he believes he will win the election and is “hopeful” about the outcome.
